Beta

This is an open beta. We've tested it as far as we can without the physical hardware — the final checks need a real device. Download the free trial, run it on your gear, and email [email protected] with anything you find. Report an issue and we'll give you the finished driver free on one processor as thanks for helping us test.

About this driver

Two-way RTI control of a Pentair IntelliCenter pool and spa controller over your LAN. A community driver by aviet on the RTI Forums has been the go-to since 2023 and handles the basics well — bodies, circuits, lights with color presets. This driver focuses on the equipment that one doesn't expose: pump telemetry (live watts, RPM, GPM), IntelliChem (pH, ORP, tank levels, alarms), IntelliChlor (salt level, primary/secondary %, super-chlorinate), schedule status, water + solar temperature sensors, vacation mode, and heater selection by name. Auto-binds to the RTI Climate template so dropping a Pool Body source into a room populates Heat/Off/setpoint buttons with no macro work. Local push updates — no cloud, no Pentair Home account.

What's included

  • Live pump telemetry — watts, RPM, GPM per variable-speed pump
  • IntelliChem: pH, ORP, pH/ORP tank levels, high/low alarms
  • IntelliChlor: salt level, primary/secondary output %, super-chlorinate
  • Schedule status visibility for up to 20 schedules
  • Water + solar temperature sensors (in addition to air)
  • Heater selection by name (Gas / Heat Pump / Solar) per body
  • RTI Climate template auto-binds — Heat/Off/setpoint buttons populate themselves
  • Zero-config setup — equipment auto-discovers; no per-circuit name typing
  • Vacation mode + service mode visibility
  • Local LAN only — no cloud, no Pentair Home account

How the beta works

  1. Download the driver (free — button on the right), install it in Integration Designer, and load it to your processor. It runs unlocked for 120 minutes per session.
  2. Run it on your real hardware and put it through its paces — the beta exists to cover the checks we can't do without the physical device.
  3. Email [email protected] with how it went — a bug, a rough edge, or just "it works." Report an issue and we'll give you the finished driver free on one processor.
